Abstract
This toolkit was created in collaboration with members of the State Leadership for Multilingual Learner (ML) Equity partnership. Within this document, we outline strategies for strengthening the ML educator pipeline. We use the term “ML educators” in reference to educators who receive a credential specific to ML education (e.g., ESOL educators, dual language educators, etc.). While the resources included in this document do not explicitly include content teachers, we view content teachers as playing an important role in supporting ML students’ learning and address this in our recommendations for future research/resources.
