$32 million is headed to Indiana schools to educate English-learners

Chalkbeat-IN reports that the Indiana state budget, passed by the state legislature and awaiting the governor's signature, sets aside an vastly increased budget for educating ELs in the state, giving schools funds per EL student and additional funds to schools with higher EL concentrations. Special funds for EL education will also be provided to charter schools for the first time.
