Abstract
This report is the fifth of states' self-reported data on English learners (ELs) served by Title III funds. In addition to providing background information on the Title III formula grant and state allocations, the report presents a national overview of ELs, monitored former ELs, and immigrant children in schools for 2010-11 and 2011-12. Chapters include information on languages most commonly spoken by ELs, Title III accountability and annual measurable achievement objectives, language instruction education programs, and education staff working with ELs. The report also exhibits state-level maps, detailed data tables, and individual state profiles.
