Improving Reading Outcomes for Students with or at Risk for Reading Disabilities: A Synthesis of the Contributions from the Institute of Education Sciences Research Centers

This report reviews the results of the first eight years of IES-funded research that focused on ways to prevent and remediate reading difficulties in students with or at risk for reading disabilities, addressing research in assessment, cognitive and linguistic processes of reading, effective interventions, and teacher professional development.
