Abstract
The article discusses difficulties involved in translating from Spanish-to-English and English-to-Spanish. The author states that, although they are both Romance languages, grammatical and syntactical constructs in English and Spanish, such as general word order, make it very challenging for translators to translate correctly between the two languages. The article concludes by adding that "high proficiency is required in both the languages for performing flawless and authentic English-Spanish translation and Spanish-English translation."
