Abstract
The Center for the Study of Child Care Employment has used the Early Childhood Higher Education Inventory with 13 states. This article looks at the survey results through the lenses of how well higher education is preparing teachers to support young dual language learners, a rapidly growing segment of the population. The answers to the survey are informative, and the recommendations the report makes for improvements are noteworthy.
