Abstract:

This is the third of a series if four issue briefs syntehsizing the results of the Hispanic Dropout Project. It focuses on teacher attitude toward Hispanic students and makes recommendations for improving the interactions among teachers, students and families. It also highlights the need importance of drawing on proir knowledge and skills rather than viewing cultural differences as deficiencies.
