The U.S. Department of Education’s Office of English Language Acquisition (OELA) partnered with the White House Initiative on Advancing Education Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity for Hispanics to host this panel discussion with award-winning authors whose work highlights the diversity of heroes and heroines within Latino communities. The webinar panelists were authors David Bowles and Lulu Delacre and the moderator was author Guadalupe Garcia-McCall.
