The annual National Professional Development (NPD) Project Directors Meeting, sponsored by the Office of English Language Acquisition (OELA), was held November 7–8, 2017, in Arlington, VA. The meeting included sessions on grant administration and evaluation strategies, new research on EL education, and engaging families and communities, as well as a student panel and peer-to-peer discussions.
