Abstract
The article talks about increasing diversity in the Springdale district of Arkansas which saw a change from 97 percent Caucasian students in 1989 to 35.4 percent Caucasian students in October 2016. Topics discussed include Springdale being the state's second largest school district and one of its most diverse, immigrants making up 5 percent of the population of the state, and one in four residents of Springdale being foreign born.
